If you want to get hired for a remote job, never write these on your CV:

“Responsible for managing social media.”
“Handled the company’s marketing.”
“Worked with different clients.”
“Helped increase sales.”

Can we talk about people who are good at what they do but don’t know how to make people SEE it? 😭

You can have the skills, do the work, and deliver results, but if you can’t communicate your value, people might never know what you bring to the table.

Being good at something is one thing. Making it visible is another.

And fr, I think more people need to learn the second part🌚

One of my mutuals just block me, though I'm not offended, I respect his decision.

What I know is that I'm trying my best to makes sure I'm turning up for my mutuals, even when I'm busy I will still turn up for you.

People don't think twice before they do something.

I know some people who don't engage with me at all and I never for once send them a message or block them before or ask them why they aren't engaging with me

I believe they all have a lot of people they are also engaging with. I know I can't satisfy y'all but I know I don't snooze on my mutuals.

The expensive thing for a student / business owner isn't money.

It's repetitive tasks.

- Copying data from one sheet to another
- Replying to the same DMs
- Manually checking circuits / reports
