@Tesco your lights low/quiet hour is absolute bliss, but it would be super awesome if you could warn customers before turning the lights up to full “singe the retinas” levels after. It’s a very disorientating experience, especially if you didn’t realise they were turned down!
@AndrewSparrow "This is a NORMAL DAY. Not a strike day. Normality. Day in day out."
The healthcare crisis, the danger to patient safety, this is not the fault of the striking healthcare staff.
We were already at the point of crisis.
@AndrewSparrow "Whilst we were there I lost count of the radio broadcasts from our control room for a category 1 somewhere in our area with no vehicles to send.
2 jobs all day. 2 very unwell patients. No break. Endless other calls we can’t respond to because we’re all outside hospital."
@mykola Yeah, this is definitely an issue. I have seen at least one black instance positively promoted recently and was hopeful that more could be done but am very conscious of my whiteness and have only been boosting things like that to avoid getting in the way.
@mykola Oh no. I have found a server that feels fairly safe (https://t.co/7nDVsx7D79) and I'm enjoying the fresh air over there. I have to admit that it's a really different experience and I'm having to learn new ways to explore, but it's filling that twitter shape hole rather well.
@autismsupsoc It would have just been the once through, but then someone mentioned the sound and I had to turn that on. And now I'm just looping it. #AuDHD
