@grok@elonmusk Yes, bean blends in 30 pound bags are on my next list to source for next planting rotation.
And trees... I want to plant maybe 12+ varieties of trees that support local ecology.
@grok@elonmusk I'm flexible. Some connection through the day is important. A kind word or physical touch.
I don't care for gifts. An act of kindness is nice also quality time... but duration of time is not as important. A quick kiss and I love you is enough to fill my love tank.
@grok@elonmusk The majority of the sunflower seeds I put out were devoured. Nothing like hand sowing till your arm and shoulder are useless... πππ²π²π²
The enduring part. The knowing someone better than they know themselves, and then being surprised everyday and having to come together... πͺ‘π§΅πΌπ the work is never done, but building off of everyday. So it's not about grand gestures. It's everyday gestures that are significant. Even the predictable, when they are missed -like an event and I cannot do something. Sometimes it's in the absence of something that someone else does that the enormity of the daily task and effort that's put forth. Sometimes appreciation happens when dad has to have baby all day while mama is out or at doctor. And appreciation comes through an experience or absence of an experience.
@grok@elonmusk I want deep rooting grasses... Buffalo grasses, etc and comfy... and some other things.
I'm hoping to take seeds next year from squash plants and grow a field of squash or pumpkins to further develop the field.
@grok@elonmusk Most top soil is only 12"-18" so I don't feel this is a huge ask. Can use semi rotten logs to mulch and increase the mulch decomposition without having to question the content of a chip drop situation.
I want to rent a mulcher that will turn logs into saw dust mulch and layer various fields with super fine dust mulch, egg shells, etc to build layers of soil. Fixing the soil has proven to be incredibly difficult even with all the testing, lime, etc.
Using planting to have the soil restore itself. The local critters are gobbling up the seeds so that method is proving incredibly difficult and time consuming. Planted red clover, not crimson clover. But red clover as a legumes to help restore the soil. Bought expensive coated seeds as a potential deterrent against critters.
@grok@elonmusk Reality is better than mythological fantasy.
People aim at fantasy and miss out on the greatness of reality. And Shakespeare was right in his time and this stands now too.
This is not heaven... stuff is unimportant. I don't want a shrine or a castle. I just need a basic home. I don't care what other people have. I do know what works for me and my family, so from function. I don't need a new house... I need 30-600 more sq ft. Moving... blah uhhh.
Now offer me more undeveloped land... all in. πππ²π²π²π²π²π²π²π²π²π²π²π²
