What did I learn from the “father” of Kenyan pixie oranges?
1. FOCUS in farming is very IMPORTANT.
2. Get good quality tree seedlings that can survive in your area.
3. Trees need TLC – space, prune, spray and water.

A couple of weeks ago, I visited a man who I have christened the “father” of Kenyan pixie oranges. Just in case you are wondering what a pixie is, it is citrus fruit that is a cross between oranges and tangerines. It is very, very sweet, fleshy and has no seeds.
