@LoudounNow 2. Did the police officers validate the anxiety the kids feel interacting with the officers when pulled over, given the kids’, their families, and/or their community’s experiences?
@LoudounNow 4. Did you take any photographs of the officers playing sports with the kids and both sides having fun? Because the picture you chose looks like a classroom lecture, which would do little to build bridges.
@LoudounNow 3. Did the conversation include any explanation of the officers themselves are working to do better to improve the interactions, or was all the responsibility for de-escalation put on the kids? Because the quote from sounded like gaslighting to me.
