We can do zoom classes and online activities and yes they’re better than nothing. But they certainly don’t replace the in-person teacher/ student interactions and engagement in the classroom. That’s where the magic happens!

The irony of taking away recess for misbehavior is that if students had more recess, play, and physical activity they would have improved focus, on task behavior, and able to self regulate.
