@acrobaticle Once inside the kitchen, Kory would hop up onto a counter, sitting on it, long legs dangling over the edge, casually kicking up and down gently.
“How is this for a hint— I am desperately hungry, Richard. Better?”
Of course she knows. But he seemed to have a lot going on as well. And she had other means of support.
That should be enough time for a bath. She’ll leave the door open for him anyway, if she isn’t out of the bath by then.
“Was I not obvious enough?” A coy smirk on her lips as she removed her finger, turning around as if to lead Dick into his own kitchen.
Technically, she didn’t get to eat anything special yesterday. So this would be making up for that.
“You don’t need to make excuses, Richard. I know my taste isn’t pleasing to human palettes.”
The alien would shrug, poking his cheek for a second time. “I like your cooking though. I miss when you would make us both dinner.”
sighing, he then smiles.
"Yours are fine. It's just . . you see, people have ( preference ), and it's different, each one of us. Just because some people are not into your cooking doesn't mean others will too."
“I have been busy also. How was your.... which is it again-? Ah! Turkey Day?” Human holidays were so.... odd.
“It has been too long. I feel we have said this our past few meetings as well.”
