Pretty cool to see the GOAT @LewisHamilton, holding a trading card I designed of Ayrton Senna at the Fanatics store opening today in London 😎
My 2 favourite F1 drivers in one picture is pretty special!
Lewis Hamilton, officially in Ferrari red. 🔴🏎️
A huge moment in F1 history and an exciting shift visually too—after years designing him in silver, it’s gonna be fun exploring a whole new era in red!

Made a more ‘reactive’ post after news about Sergio Perez leaving yesterday & then promptly forgot to post it 🫠
A bit more experimental and a bit more ‘out there’, compared to my usual posts….
…because you can’t get any better by staying in your comfort zone!

Hopefully these ‘shortcuts’ help you build a successful career in design. Let me know if this was helpful. I might do more posts like this 🙌🏾
P.S. Below is the design task that got me my first job in sport (2017). 4 years later I joined Red Bull in time for 3 Championships!
Here’s the shortcuts I used in my career, to work for sports brands like @ManUtd , @F1 & Red Bull Racing without a design degree 👇🏾

In 2017, Formula 1 was a ‘dying sport.’
Aging fans, no digital presence, and no future.
But Netflix changed everything.
5 years later: 50 million new fans, TikTok dominance, and the fastest-growing sport globally.
Here’s the marketing masterclass behind the comeback:
@FrazDav Yeah I mean the decline (but not ‘dying’) is clearly undisputed, but I’d argue rugby/cricket are probably more in that definition than F1 was. But hey maybe I’m just being pedantic. It always felt that the sport was a sleeping giant that needed dragging into the 21st century
@FrazDav Gonna asterisk myself and say it was *one of* the first big sports to come back. Not 100%, but either way we sucked in a huge audience because there was little competition for attention at that time
@FrazDav Netflix is a massive factor, but so too is being the first sport to return during COVID, so it’s a combo between the two I’d say and that’s how we viewed it internally at the time
