@BrentleyGC Who told Bryson that his thesis is embarrassingly flawed? Had he not been assessed a penalty (2 shots) in Friday…and another penalty (2 shots) on Sunday…isn’t that only 4 shots?
@ArtistGolferJon Not really. They can take other steps to ensure pathways. Such as a full annual Q-school, open Monday qualifying, etc. But that’s ditching the “contracted player” model. However, if LiV becomes Team Events as has been speculated, OWGR goes away anyway & feeder tours aren’t needed
@EvinPriest@flushingitgolf Not sure about that, Evin. Tom isn’t really going out on a limb with that statement. I mean, to be fair, aren’t 10 supposed to be booted anyway under PiF League’s relegation rules? So unless Tom shares the names of his Mag Seven, he’s just aggrandizing public knowledge.
LIV Golf's season finale in Michigan is now "highly likely" to be cancelled.
I spoke with Martin Kaymer, who believes the $40 million event has a "five percent chance" of taking place as scheduled after talks on Tuesday.

Continuing his petulant behavior, @brysondech has refused to address the assembled staff writers for @livgolf_league ahead of its flagship event #LIVGolfUK.
Title sponsors @JCBmachines and @JCBGolfCC have been informed of his decision to skip any media appearances.
@Daniel_Rapaport@AlanShipnuck@DanOnGolfShow Simple question but long on debate. Perfect for a show/pod:
How many “Best Players in the World” are there?
Forget about WHO they are. Names are unimportant. Asimple “how many”.
100? 50? 25? PersonallyI say there are less than 15 “Best Players in the World” any given year.
@KipHenley Fair to say, Governing Bodies are the most knowledgeable. Rules officials a very close #2.
From there, it’s a HUGE gap in knowledge to Players at #3 and Caddies and #4.
The knowledge level of Twitter accounts is too small to even measure, let alone put in a ranking.
@mrmckee Wow. The PiF League did more damage to the star power and emerging talent of the DPWT than the PGAT could ever do. Not to mention, a crap load of money was paid to DPWT for this deal. PiF League took all this present and future talent and gave the DPWT nothing.
@LIVGolfBuff LiV League would be a financial and cultural success if it was purely a team based league with head-to-head matches and a playoff at the end of the relegate the bottom two teams.
@LIVGolfBuff Said 1,000X … PiF League’s biggest critical failure was putting 90% emphasis on 18 holes of individual stroke play, over 3-4 days, with 14 conforming clubs, all under USGA rules. Everyone in golf does that! Nothing - and I mean NOTHING - is unique about that model.
@KipHenley In my playing days, I was always amazed at how many didn’t have a grasp on the rules. They understood don’t touch your ball, move your coin back, and don’t ground the club in a hazard. After that, very little knowledge. We had to pass a rules test before coach put us on the team.
@RickShielsPGA Why don’t you address why you no longer produce LiV League exclusive content. You announced a huge multi-year deal in March 2025. Produced two or three pieces. Then nothing since August. What happened?
