@stanniner @LucasJHann You’re both too focused on this season only. Clippers have a 3 year plan that heavily involves 2019 free agency. If Ty gets more than the minimum this summer it hurts plan. And if not locked up for 3 years then his cap hold hurts in 2019.

@LucasJHann So you must believe Ty has 100% earned a guaranteed deal for next season. I think sample size is still small and that’s why Clippers have leverage. His play has been encouraging, but I’m just not there. Even you were 50/50 on if Williams or Ty should get end of season deal.
