@campbellclaret Don't forget that it's a value-added tax. These schools would deduct the VAT they paid on their inputs. So, the net gain to the Revenue would be 20% of the "value added," not 20% of the full school fees.
@PoliticsJOE_UK@janemorrice@carolvorders I voted tactically in the last two elections, against Brexit. It didn't work but left me feeling bad. This time, I'll be voting with my heart.
The UK's shit-filled rivers/beaches are becuase ferric sulphate, a flocculant in sewage treatment, is in short supply in the UK.
Ferric sulphate comes from the EU.
Brexit made it far more difficult to obtain.
The shit-strewn UK is due to brexit.
There's your brexit benefit.
@1066shrimprail@SimonCalder I once travelled on National Express all the way from St Leonards Warrior Square (Victoria's monument) to Dundee, via London Victoria Bus Station. Can't do it anymore. There's no Hastings/St Leonards bus service to London.
@campbellclaret I will vote for the candidate most likely to re-join the EU. Did tactical voting at the last GE and it didn't work; just gave me a bad feeling.
@sonofr It's a matter of simple arithmetic. Labour and the other main party are chasing the Brexit voters. Let them have, say, 26% each. So, there's 48% Remainers who might vote to re-join. It's a big opportunity for a new party!
This petition is now so close to 9,000 signatures. Let’s get it to 10,000 & force the Government to respond. We must end this tragic miscarriage of justice. Please sign the petition here🙏
