FRANCIS ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED IN OGWASHI-UKU

Francis was reportedly attacked after refusing to join a cult group. The incident occurred at a hotel in Ogwashi-Uku, where suspected cultists seized his phone and tried to force him away. When he resisted and attempted to retrieve it, a struggle followed.

The situation reportedly worsened after soldiers were called in. Instead of protecting him, they allegedly sided with the suspects, took Francis away, and subjected him to serious physical assault.

This incident demands urgent investigation and accountability. No one should suffer abuse for refusing criminal involvement.

At the early hours of yesterday, 30th April 2026, following credible intelligence reports, the vigilant youths of Rumuigbo Mgbuadu Community in Port Harcourt successfully apprehended an individual alleged to be involved in the circulation of counterfeit currency.

The suspect is reported to have been moving around with printed fãke money, using it to purchase goods and dëfråud POS operators within and around our community.

Upon his arrest, the suspect was promptly handed over to the Kala Police Station.

A POS operator in Delta State was caught taking photos of customers’ cards and forwarding the details to internet fraudsters (“Yahoo boys”), who then used the information to withdraw money.
One of the victims tracked a suspicious transaction, which led to the arrest of the fraudsters. They exposed the POS operator.
Angry people attempted to attack her, but the police intervened and rescued her. She has since been arrested.
