Might be time to shelf my finish horror manuscript. It’s disappointing because I feel like it’s a good story, but it’s my first time querying and I think I jumped into it too eager and overdid it a bit.
In the meantime, gonna start a new slasher story ✍🏽

Got a rejection from an agent I really wanted to work with. I think what really bummed me out is that they said it’s the type of story they’re interested in but they weren’t as taken with the manuscript sample. Makes me questions whether the story is any good 😔
