John Park ('26,FL)
Uncommitted right-handed pitcher/third baseman representing Viera HS, boasting an athletic frame standing at 6'0" 190lbs. Park impresses as a formidable two-way player, making an impact both on the mound and at the plate. On the pitching mound, he utilizes his lanky frame effectively in his delivery, loading onto his backside before delivering pitches with a longer high 3/4 arm angle and engaging a firm front leg block. His fastball sits between 84-86 mph with a spin rate of 2290 RPM, complemented by a slider ranging from 72-74 mph at 2100 RPM and a changeup at 73-75 mph with a spin rate of 1670 RPM. Park demonstrates prowess at the plate as well, registering impressive exit velocities into the 90 mph range. His approach features a quick trigger with an uphill finish. Fresh off their 6A District 8 Championship win, Park aims to further bolster his resume and continue making great strides.
