Ah man, this one hit different. I've powered through so many quests in Wuthering Waves, but none of them ever wrecked me like Phrolova's story did. It completely broke something in me. I got to learn how she was just a violinist once, living a simple life in her small town, pouring her heart into music for the people she loved. Then the Lament came, a shard struck like a meteor from hell, wiping out everything in an instant. Her family, her friends, her entire world… gone. She was the only survivor left standing in the ruins with nothing but echoes and unbearable guilt. That kind of trauma doesn't just scar you, it hollows you out. For years, decades, maybe centuries, she studied, experimented, and yes… she killed. All so she could bring them back, rewrite the frequency of reality itself, and give her people another chance at existence. Her methods were monstrous. Unforgivable. She knew it too. But when you're that alone, that desperate, the line between right and wrong starts to blur until it disappears.
I kept hoping she was being manipulated, maybe the Fractsidus had her mind under control, using her powers for their own evil. I wanted so badly to save her, to pull her back from the edge. But no… it was all her choice. She walked into the darkness willingly, driven by grief and a promise that was never kept. Rover and Phrolova really are two sides of the same coin, both living endless, looping lives, chasing something impossible, willing to make sacrifices along the way. The difference? Rover still has that line they won't fully cross. She didn't anymore. Their past self made a promise, one that meant everything to a broken, believing soul like hers. And then… nothing. No visit. No explanation. Just silence while she spiraled deeper into trauma and guilt. The Fractsidus didn't hesitate to prey on that lost, fragile girl hiding behind all that power. She was strong on the surface, but inside? She was shattered, ready to end everything if her wish never came true.
We had so many chances to change her fate, to be better than our past selves, to show up when it still mattered. But Rover? They lost every argument, hesitated, and in the end… they fucking stabbed her. Watched her fall. Her body vanished into the frequencies, but her soul lingers in the Lost Beyond... She did not find peace.. That final interaction left me completely empty. Hollow. I hated Rover so much in that moment. I hated them so much. All the potential for redemption, for healing, for keeping that damn promise… thrown away. She didn't deserve to be abandoned twice. And now she's gone, not fully dead but never truly saved, forever conducting her tragic symphony in a place we'll visit but can never really fix. I cried myself to sleep after that quest. Still think about her. This kind of story doesn't just entertain you, it stays with you, aching. Kuro really cooked with this one… and it hurt like hell.
Never trusting a single fucking promise Rover makes from here and out man...

Holograms are a dance, imo.
You don't force yourself on the enemy, take turns. Learn when the enemy becomes prone, learn when to push and when to yied.
Holograms have scaling attack buffs for you after a certain period so you'll always make the timer if you play well enough.
