David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

You know what the biggest problem with pushing all-things-AI is? Wrong direction.
I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so that I can do art and writing, not for AI to do my art and writing so that I can do my laundry and dishes.

In the last 2 of years I've been working on a project called Count-Me-In, a collaborative music app for audience participation. I had the opportunity to present it last year at @mtflabs. Here is a vid of the presentation, including a somewhat chaotic demo

From a brilliant article by Danah Boyd: “I’m not worried about the coming dawn of the Terminator, but I am worried that we will use AI to wage war on our own labor forces in pursuit of efficiency.” — @zephoria https://t.co/YmkRejnTmF

@Celemony Hi. I just bought Essential appreciating that (according to your website) "Melodyne 5.2 or higher runs native on Apple Silicon Macs". However, it needs Rosetta, which means it doesn't run native. Not a huge deal, but the sentence above is misguiding.

Before you start to plan the next TEI conference, let's dive into reminiscences of #TEI2023 art exhibition.

Last night we presented inTangible at @tei_conf .
inTangible is a mixed-media artwork and connected object that invites the visitor to reflect on digital vs. physical co-ownership and the NFT market.
