@InstamicSupport My instamic keeps auto shutting down, i've formatted in the app, I used my disk utility to reformat, I used the upgrade app, I even did the hard reset, I am down to no more options, this instamic just wont stop shutting down, recording or just on it goes off.

@InstamicSupport Can the unit be serviced? Given its current state is it out of the ? to ask if I could slice it open and replace its power cell? Is its cell smaller or larger than a standard a23 battery? Or is the unit just as is now? If my friend w/ order# took it back could he get it serviced?

@InstamicSupport I could not get it to turn off when plugged in your definitely right, ive messed with it enough to notice that, and the power seemed to fluctuate a bit as I paid close attention. I think that’s the answer, I appreciate knowing that, saves me from messing around to much with it

@InstamicSupport I appreciate the help, it’s ok, I know it’s an older model, I know my friend cared for it and tried a few things but never hard reset so I was hoping maybe, i don’t think he wanted to be bothered with it n e more, I was wondering if there were any other options to try.

@InstamicSupport The firmware is 1.2.95, I reran the upgrade software just in case, made sure it was formatted, still shutoff, tested other modes in case, it happens using the app and standalone, all modes, i hard reset it today when it was low, firmware’app again, tested everything, still off.

@InstamicSupport He gave it to me in the hopes I could fix it, I’ve been trying as long as I’ve had it. I just haven’t had any luck, it’s very random, some times it shuts right off, other times it records for 20-30 minutes, I’ve tried everything a few times over now
