@Honestjinora is because we biologically can differentiate between someone who looks healthy or otherwise malnourished/obese. even if she is at a healthy weight, this type of skin and bones physique still sends a message to her fans, essentially encouraging losing as much weight as possible
@Honestjinora this isn’t the “aha” moment you think it is. if she was a normal weight or her physique looked healthy nobody would be sounding the alarm bells esp about her being too thin. if anything you’d hear online incels talking about how she’s too fat. reason why ppl feel uncomfortable+
and the whole “she’s a 32 year old woman now” thing doesn’t cut it. you can be 32 with a completely different vibe and taste in music and not look like the clear manifestation of skin and bones. ozempic and skinny culture be damned
nothing against ari i love her, but what we’re seeing is a girl starving herself to fit a fairytale persona. looking at her arms and torso genuinely makes me worried for her and i’d say thats a biological reaction akin to one most people get when seeing a malnourished child
This is why I hate when people say that BTS got big because they were "lucky". Namjoon, around the age of SEVENTEEN, sat down with a bandmate and grilled them on their hopes and dreams to ensure that he was debuting with people who had big goals and the ambition to achieve them.
