Trump seems to be stalling on the Iran issue. It is understandable that he is doing so as the Iranians are never going to agree to his demand on the nuclear material and if they do it will only be a stall tactic to retool their defenses. He is in a tough spot since he most likely thought they would cave and now he sees that isn't in the cards and boots on the ground is where they will have an advantage with their very large forces and the home field advantage in a country 3x the size of California. I don't think he anticipated it would go this far as Venezuela was so easy to take but this is not Venezuela. He is in a quagmire and it is obvious and I don't envy him. It is a problem of escaltion being torn between risking many American Military in a ground invasion or creating more destruction to Irans infrastructure which will ultimately cost America Megabucks to rebuild. This is not a decision one relishes to make. God give him the wisdom to make the right decision.
