Today, I’m 14 years seizure free. 💜 I’m blessed that my medication works and that my family supports all the things that accompany #epilepsy. The next seizure could happen any moment but I don’t let that stop me from living life. I have epilepsy. It doesn’t have me. #IAm1in26

@lisasophiaa Yep! I had to call my husband in a moment of clarity and say "get me the hell off this medication". He called my neuro for me. It was bad. I mean, really, really bad.

I usually keep one clock in the house on Standard Time so I can feel some consistency.

@joellennoble I'm convinced it's part their personality and part our parenting experience that feeds into whether one is easier than the other at any given "thing". Personality being the greater percentage. By far.

And coffee. Lots and LOTS of coffee.

I often say “Once a Choir Mom, always a Choir Mom”. And I t’s outings like this + hearing Braden sing with the BG choirs that keeps me saying it. I can’t wait until he graduates and gets his own choir. I’ll be right there supporting him any way I can.

Braden and I saw @TenebraeChoir last night at the Cathedral downtown. It was a Spring Break spontaneous outing. We both were blown away! So wonderful! Opportunities for these "dates" seem to dwindle year by year, so I'm grateful that we were able to share this experience.

Welp, I just opened the hidden box of Samoa's and ate two. IKR?!? It was a mistake, but now I have to live with the consequences.

The entire box will be gone by the weekend. My family will ferret those out and these two will be the only ones I get.

Maybe it's for the best.
