@Venmo no help. No customer service. Random payments get rejected. I’ve done all the things Venmo suggests in their incredibly awful help section. (And I’ve checked with my bank - the payment requests don’t even go through to them. Looking for alternatives.

Venmo challenges

Payments to others are remarkably inconsistent. For no apparent reason reason (I have checked my bank), Venmo sends my requests, or they don’t. There is no pattern. Amounts don’t seem to matter.

And the customer service options are obscenely poor. Closing it.
