I'm listening now to Col. Davis's interview with Herr Baab and the thought came to me that one of the crazy strategic goals of a US ground assault might be to use American lives to take pressure off of the Israelis, who are being pummelled night and day. Iran might concentrate on an invasion rather than bombing Israel.
