By changing this consumer unit, not only did we fully test the wiring of the property for safety but the unit itself considerably improves the safety of the property and bring it up to modern standards.

If you look closely, you can just see the cable that's popped out of it's terminal - a simple problem that stopped multiple lights from working in this commercial property....an easy fix though and fortunately found within 30minutes.

It's not hard to find the problem in this picture. When Sam and Jim were on site looking for the problem they had the added benefit of being able to smell the burning too!!! The relay decided it had enough of this world :-(

If you look at the highlighted piece of metal - that's live!! If the fuse trips then the client is almost guaranteed a shock when they switch it back on again!!! Terrifying!
