@horsevault C'était à Enghien. Kauto Star avait gagné auparavant à Bordeaux pour ses débuts, mais avait perdu le bénéfice de ses efforts sur le tapis vert au profit de Star Glory, un autre pensionnaire de Serge Foucher. Nagging etait 3e. Les 3 premiers sont devenus des chevaux de groupe!!!

A particularly remarkable campaign by a star horse was that of the great Kauto Star in the 2006/7 season. He started in the Old Roan Chase at Aintree (2m 4f), went up in trip for the Betfair Chase at Haydock, all the way back down to two miles for the Tingle Creek at Sandown, back up to three miles for the King George VI at Kempton, onto what’s now known as the Denman Chase at Newbury and finished his campaign in the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival. He went through that season unbeaten. Sensational! @PFNicholls
