But you really need to check with the county in question to make sure you know the process.

@Izengabe_ DM me if you really want to understand ballot curing. As a 2024 candidate for the Ventura County Community College Board, I learned about the process firsthand and I drew some definite conclusions as well.

The worst thing is having to knock on someone's door the week of Thanksgiving to explain why their ballot may not be counted.

At least one guy threatened me because "the election was over!"

@Savage_Vortex9 @jenvanlaar The curing process is a pain because you only know the name, contact info and party registration for the voter whose ballot needs curing.

So, you don't actually know if the voter voted for you or not, meaning you have to go by party as your best guess. 7/
