@Neronova I definitely believe that’s what is firing everyone up. We are losing options we have had for so long. Regardless if numbers show we use it or not. We won’t even have the option anymore.

@Neronova Exactly where I’m at. Pc already is top tier. Everyone just has to bite the bullet and get one. Will be much happier. Just annoying that some games are console only. Hoping that changes

@Neronova Just from my research. My house hold has 2 digital ps5s and 2 disc ps5s. I agree with disc is the better of the two because it gives me the option to use it. (I haven’t used the disc drive but I could and that’s important to me lol)

@NoahJ615 Also want to add 85% of games purchased since ps5 dropped have been digital. So I’m sure they’re looking to cut costs and make a bigger profit.

Hope I’m wrong and we get awesome games and gameplay or cheaper games due to production costs being cheaper but we’ll see

@NoahJ615 Retailers will most likely still be able to sell merchandise and digital download codes. Take gta 6 for example. You can still purchase from retailers and get a case with game cover however it won’t have a disc and will just be a download code

@RevolverJerm 85% of ps5 games that have been sold since ps5 dropped were digital games.

Hoping with lack of physical copies produced and lack of disc drives gaming either gets crazy good graphics and gameplay or cost of games drops. We shall see.

@RevolverJerm Nobody asked but I have the disc version ps5 however years before ps5 dropped and I was on ps4 my disc drive stopped working and I was solely digital for at least the last 10 years. Much easier, can switch games with a few clicks. Plus GameStop gives you $0.50 for a year old game
