Making school equitable for students and teachers is the key. If we do this then being equal will be much easier to achieve! No matter what race, gender, ethnicity, or culture you are we should all be equal! #3310TXST
I think that certain philosophies like progressivism can definitely flip education and schooling on its head! Having students speak for their own rights and learning styles will be life changing! #3310TXST#change
@kristianteaches I agree that our students also depend on these philosophies that help them. I personally think in my classroom progressivism will be key! #3310TXST
@Kady07554235 I actually enjoy this philosophy because when taking the test to decide which best fit me the numbers were very close to each other. I feel that everyone ones beliefs stem off a couple rather than just one! #3310TXST
I think we need to protect all right for our future students as educators and humans in general. The one I am most passionate is freedom of speech for our students. It is extremely important to have students express their own speech to make a great classroom environment #3310TXST
@madisonnwalsh I love the article thank you so much for the link! I think it is very important that we know our students and our own rights as future teachers! #3310TXST
I feel that when I become a teacher I am willing to do anything and everything for my students. I want to almost become a parents to them and make them feel loved, appreciated, and smart in their own abilities! #3310TXST
I hope as a future educator I can build a safe environment to create relations with the children. I would want my students to feel safe to even tell me experiences that are being dealt with at home to help deepen our connection, and understanding when teaching . #3310TXST
When asking how can instructions be differentiated for diverse learners I first think of an open classroom. Starting off with this simple yet effective strategy can most definitely open the floor to different learning styles and capabilities. #DoBetter#3310TXST
@Kady07554235 I also want to build a personal connection with my students. I think it will much easier to help find their styles plus I will get to know them better! I want to help my future students! #3310TXST
I am happy to learn speaking in the person-first language because it not only applies to me being a future teacher of students but in my personal life as well. My aunt is a person with an amputation and I know she appreciates this speech! #3310TXST
“For every one of us that succeeds, it’s because there’s somebody there to show you the way out. The light doesn’t always necessarily have to be in your family; for me it was teachers and school.” -Oprah Winfrey

There’s a quote by Marilynne Robinson that states “Over my life as a teacher, women have been too quiet. I’m quiet myself. I don’t think I said three words the whole of graduate school.” It is important for women to have a voice especially in teaching! #3310TXST
