@MarketUrbanism If they are further than 15m you need two or more stairwells that need to be connected. Also if the last floor is above 11.5m you need to have 2 elevators. If it's 3 floors but less than 11.5m you need to have space to install 1 elevator.

@MarketUrbanism Looking up portuguese law is hard, but what I gathered (not sure if it's the most updated regulation) is: You only need to have one stair well (regardless of height) as long as all doors are at maximum 15m from the stair "box".

@AmericanFietser Grad school friends in Bloomington that drive to school every day (car + insurance + gas + parking permit): "What, your ebike was 1800$ that's so expensive!". Most of them live less than 2 miles from campus too...

@HamCoIndiana What accommodations were planned and built for pedestrians and bicycles? Any safe and legal way to cross this section in a practical way? What are the detour paths and how are they signaled? I'm sure you thought of all this and not only cater to drivers.

@rileychoe1 The area is a mess now though because they are rebuilding the metro connections to the station to turn the existing two lines that stop there into a circular line.

@rileychoe1 This soccer stadium in Lisbon (Alvalade, home to Sporting) has a mall, movie theatre, food court, medical center and grocery store around its walls. It's also across the street from a regional bus terminal, local busses and metro station.

@HellaciousK @hankgreen I also accidently told my niece that witches only live in America. We were visiting a cavern in Europe and she was getting a little scared so I tried to help, completely forgetting that she lives in the USA. Her parents were not happy about it hahaha
