Its just a matter of time Vaibhav gets his cap. Its inevitable but I am not liking the discourse around it.
Abhishek in the last 2 yrs has scored over 1500 runs at a SR of 193 !! He became the no 1 batter in ICC rankings in the meantime.
Sanju just before his slump in Asia cup had 3 100s and he played 3 ATG innings in knockouts.
Ishan scored tons of runs in SMAT, VHT to comeback in the side, scored a 100 against NZ and had a phenomenal world cup.
How do u tell anyone of these, ok u have done your job now we don't need u. This is not how u wreck someone's confidence and definitely not the right message that will be sent. And it creates fear and insecurity in the dressing room. This is not the right environment u would be creating. No player thrives in such a radical scheme of things. They definitely deserve a long rope. Its very unfortunate on Vaibhav's part but its debut is just around the corner. GG is an easy punching bag but he is right.

.@benstokes38, Iโve always admired the way you brought energy into the game. Your positivity, your fearless intent, and the way you shaped moments under pressure stood out every time you walked in. As an all-rounder, youโve been one of Englandโs finest, and as a captain, your bold tactics and instinctive reading of the game added a new edge to your side.
Wishing you the very best for what comes next. Though knowing you, staying away from the middle might be the hardest part. Good luck for your next innings!
"It really didn't strike me at that time"
Coach Amol Muzumdar on whether Jemimah Rodrigues could have been retired out earlier than the start of the 20th over.

There are moments in sport that stay with you forever.
Every sacrifice, every setback, every practice session, every cheer from the stands- it all led to that unforgettable night.
Proud to have shared it with an incredible group of people and to have experienced it with millions of Indians around the world.
Thank you for making us feel your love before, during and long after that final. June 29, 2024. Celebrating you forever โพ๏ธ
One of England's all-time greatest captains, Ben Stokes, has decided to retire from international cricket at the end of this Test match.
Ben, you have been the most inspirational captain, leader and legend this team could have ever hoped for.
We love you so much and wish you all the best in your retirement โค๏ธ
England will never be the same again.
