UPDATE: PNP-CIDG says it will refer a complaint for obstruction of justice before the DOJ against Sen. Robin Padilla and others accused of helping Sen. Bato Dela Rosa evade authorities on May 14.

According to the CIDG, its investigation found Dela Rosa’s transport from the Senate was a “highly coordinated” and pre-planned escape maneuver, not a simple hitch ride.

Authorities also alleged another vehicle acted as a security escort and backup car.

“When individuals actively interfere in the arrest or assist in the evasion of criminal offenders to avoid prosecution, it undermines the justice system and compromises public order,” the CIDG said. | via @_KarenDeGuzman

Sinabi ni International Criminal Court (ICC) assistant to counsel Atty. Kristina Conti na may pananagutan umano sa ICC ang mga taong tumulong para makatakas si Senator Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa.

Partikular na si Sen. Robinhood Padilla, na kasamang lumabas ni Dela Rosa sa Senate building madaling araw ng Mayo 14.

Naipaalam na rin umano sa ICC ang ginawa ni Padilla, sinabi ni Conti sa DZBB interview ngayong Linggo, Mayo 24.

Kung obstruction of justice ang maaaring kaharaping reklamo ni Padilla sa Pilipinas, offenses against the administration of justice naman ang katumbas nito sa ICC, ayon kay Conti.
