@starryplough67 Remember well when Bernard was the STV Politics Correspondent. Visiting Tories like Cameron were stunned, dismantled, and humiliated by his hard-hitting questions that others in the mainstream media were too craven to ask. There is no better candidate to lead Celtic
fans now.
@TheParkheadF When Callum retires we’re finished. A replacement of his quality would cost £30-40 million, DD won’t approve any payment of more than £5m. Zero investment = zero progress. “Prepare for life in the slow lane”, MO’N 2005.
@CelticFC Celtic fans are admired and respected in football worldwide. They are known for their good nature and humour and are a credit to the Club. Tonight’s Club statement (ostensibly about PL) was, in fact, another example of DD’s hate-filled campaign to characterise us falsely as thugs
@aboutceltic How can anyone seriously believe that Brendan said, “Quick! We need to sign Yang, Kwon, Simpson Pussey, Tilio.” (etc). They are ‘Club signings’ that he was landed with.
@Steveplustax@90MinuteCynic Brilliant, Stephen! “Let them eat cake” succinctly captures the Club’s supercilious attitude and contempt for the fans (I’m gonna knick it😁).
@CDCFC1888 Surprised Martin has forgotten what Jock would have said, “Football without the fans is nothing.” Disappointing to see Martin and Lenny behaving like Company Men and damaging their legacies by endorsing an absentee landlord who treats the fans with contempt.
@CelticFC How could any top manager resist the Celtic lure of a net zero transfer budget, selling best players asap, zero investment, zero ambition and being at the mercy of the whims of a single ill-tempered elderly absentee minority shareholder?
@CelticGossip A fish rots from the head down. Lawwell and co are hirelings easily replaced with clones. Nothing will change until DD is out. Our Club, our money, no place for absentee custodians running the business like a corner shop.
@Shetlander1978@SeanLaverty17@CelticFC Zero investment=zero progression. Portugese football not a relevant example. Benfica currently being invested in by US Private Equity firms Lenore Sports Partners, Crescent Capital and others. Celtic is heading for the Conference League then anonymity in a minor domestic league.
@SeanLaverty17@CelticFC How much has DD invested in Celtic since 2005/6, Sean? I believe the sum to be almost zero but I’m happy to be proved wrong if presented with incontrovertible evidence to the contrary. Prior to 2005/6 he did invest but that was 20yrs ago, hardly ‘great’.
@SeanLaverty17@CelticFC Help me out here, Sean. How much money has DD invested in the Club since 2005/6? I believe the sum to be zero but I’m happy to be proved wrong by anyone who can provide incontrovertible evidence. If I’m correct, I’d argue DD has not been ‘great’ for us.
@declassifiedUK I suspect that, to spare Starmer’s blushes, Bibi will now call off his Stormtroopers masquerading as footie fans, from this anti-Islamic mission. Any violence will be attributed by compliant media to UK Islamists. Crazy to vote for any UK politician paid by a foreign country.
@JimLeitrim2@bhoysviews As highly paid employees Lawwell and Nicholson do exactly as they are told by their boss, DD. Nothing would change by proverbially shooting the messengers. They would be replaced by bureaucratic clones and things would continue as they are currently.
@Auldheid Barca, R. Madrid and Man Utd are the only Clubs with cash reserves greater than Celtic. Current custodians haven’t invested a penny since 2005. No euro progress, no plan, no vision, no development, no ambition. DD invests in all his businesses bar one…Celtic. Inexcusable.
