Lot of folks have asked me in the comments "If Im still holding" or "have I held" @solana until now ....

Its been almost 2 years since I made that post at the bottom of the bear & fortunately I have held the SOL I picked up at $8.

Full transparency, I did recently take some profits mostly for tax purposes, but Im very much bullish on @solana going into 2025.

Lots of noise on the timeline on;
-unlocks
-$SOL has hit its $ETH moment
-Memes on $SOL are dying
-VC chain etc.

But realistically @solana continues to innovate/thrive & now is the home of Web3 x AI, this party is just getting started ..... I wouldnt bet against these guys especially over a longer timeframe 🤝

When building a massive IP like Pudgy Penguins, you need to look beyond just NFT prices or token values

Let me explain

Pudgy Penguins pre-airdrop valuation: ~$1.5B

This includes Pudgy Penguins + Lil Pudgys NFTs

Pudgy Penguins post-airdrop valuation: ~$4B

This now includes Pudgy Penguins + Lil Pudgys NFTs + $PENGU

Even though NFT prices tanked over 50% after the airdrop, the overall Pudgy Penguins ecosystem value almost TRIPLED itself today

Why?

Because you need to be looking at the bigger picture

Take Bored Apes for example

Look at BoredApes and Mutant Apes NFTs, $APE coin, ApeChain, and the entire Yuga Labs ecosystem

Their "market valuation" isn’t just the NFT market cap or the $APE token’s value

It’s everything they’ve built combined

• Every memecoin or NFT on ApeChain
• Every product or utility tied to $APE
• Every IP they’ve created

All of these assets feed back into Yuga Labs, the core of the ecosystem

Even if Bored Apes are now priced at 20 ETH instead of the 150 ETH highs, the entire ecosystem’s value remains intact and continues to grow

Looking at assets in isolation is flawed when you’re trying to build something of this scale

And the same applies to Pudgy Penguins

Their valuation isn’t just the market cap of Pudgy Penguins or Lil Pudgys

It’s everything combined

• All of their NFTs
• $PENGU
• Web2 IRL toys
• Every other asset tied to the Pudgy Penguins IP

When you zoom out and combine everything, you’re looking at a much larger number

And that’s how you create a fully functioning ecosystem, not just a one off product

There’s a lesson here for anyone trying to build a brand

Stop thinking small, start building an ecosystem
