Thanks to our volunteer Dave Hewitt for mowing the grass on the Boyne View Side of Johnstown People's Park as it's was an eye sore and badly needed to be done.
If residents can help dispose of the excess grass in their brown bin, please DM us or phone Alan on 085 1757216.
Socially distant team work earlier today sowing native Irish wildflower seeds in our new flower bed outside the Johnstown People's Park.
The next site on our list is to sow seeds at the Kentstown Road junction, followed by the Bailis Downs fence line on Bothar Sion.
☘Johnstown Notice🌾
A local resident has asked;
If residences in Millbrook Spireview and Boyneview could come out on Sunday from noon to sweep and get rid of the weed's ect.... would be greatly appreciated.
Great to see the community looking after their locality 💚
While its great to see people exercise their dogs in Johnstown People's Park its not great for our voluntary park cleaners to have to clean up after "YOUR" dogs.
Please clean up your dogs poo and bring it home with you.

A friendly reminder if you are using the park over the coming weeks to observe social distancing of at least 2 metres.
This is in line with advice and recommendations of the WHO and the HSE to limit the spread of Covid-19 coronavirus.
Thank you for your cooperation.
