The Indiana University Kelley School of Business suffered a tremendous loss—join us in remembering Tim Baldwin, a remarkable educator, colleague, and friend to many: https://t.co/RpsUYTaQnN
@GeorgeVlahakis, thank you for a fitting tribute to the most relentlessly positive and affirming person I have ever known, as a colleague, a fellow Prebyterian elder, a neighbor, and a friend.
This was the hardest and most important article that I've prepared in a long time, because it meant so much to me and many others who cared about someone who cared so much about them. We will miss you, Tim. https://t.co/yW8Opl13b6
Inspirational run. Inspirational organization for which to run. (I watched. Not much of an inspiration.) @ Boston, Massachusetts https://t.co/ah2cSGsPzv
Kicking off #ALSBOnline2021 with our first Master Teacher presenter, Michael Conklin from @AngeloState, on the classic Pepsi points contract case. @ALSB_Law
Happy Mother’s Day to this one, who is always cold and likes to cuddle with furry things. So, we got her the Teddy Bear Comfy. (She immediately put it on, and I fear she will never take it off.) https://t.co/aXUKRmBfCd
Next Thursday, 10am EDT, Prof. Goldburn Maynard, Jr. (@deathntaxesprof) (@KelleySchool) will present "Business Meals or Bust" as part of the final presentation in the 2021 Spring Tax Policy Colloquium. Register: https://t.co/Cxf8IWoqhF #taxpolicycolloquium
@MarcEdelman I would also grapple with the concept of "inspirational" as a candidate attribute for a monolithic group of "students." Maybe that's just indication of a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring? (To be clear, I'm not being snarky about that. It's made me think.)
@MarcEdelman I have to think more about what it means to have "several candidates who are truly qualified," without already having factored some of these significantly in the mix in setting the criteria for the search.
