It’s almost like… people are sick of sensational true crime content that largely serves to make its creators rich no matter the cost to those at the root of the stories. 🤔
Shoutout to all of the families speaking out about these productions. They have to deal with so much backlash from people who hopefully never understand how something like this feels. Keep speaking up. 💜
Consume whatever true crime content you want, but don’t get upset when families & survivors tell you how it’s made & the aftermath a project can leave behind. Feelings aren’t up for debate, either you take that into consideration when consuming or you don’t. 🤍
Happy Justice for Alissa Day. 💜 I can’t believe today marks 2 years since our father was arrested. Thank you for always believing that she would get justice. I don’t think I would have made it through without you guys. Now, let’s hope this trial starts soon. #justiceforalissa
@Delta, THANK YOU FOR LISTENING, THANK YOU for removing that documentary from your aircrafts, THANK YOU for calling me to let me know of your decision, and THANK YOU for acting so promptly. Our family is truly grateful, I hope @hulu will follow in your footsteps.
@DSlakoffPhD That’s me, yes- Hulu has went ahead and aired a documentary on my sisters murderer and included clips of my family within it, we are very against it and plead to all not to watch it. 🥺
Moving back to North Dakota was prob the best decision I could have ever made for my babies. We’re thriving as a fam, I don’t drink anymore, I am more present in their lives than I could have ever hoped for, we’re making friends & to top it off summer is finally here 🌸#thriving
