In the modern age with high accuracy weather forecasts, when we KNOW that rain will curtail a test match, why don’t we play on while the light is good on the days with no rain?

Can someone from #edutwitter point me back to the thread which lists all of the things that newspapers, magazines and commentators have said should be part of a school’s curriculum?
@rihbd@piersmorgan Garner, yes. Hadlee an unbelievable bowler but would he count as “fast” rather than “fast/medium”?

@LatymerHead Indeed. Would be interested to know which of the previous problems with mock exams no longer apply?
Unless...they are insisting on same paper, same day, under exam conditions...in which case they are bringing forward exams, not pushing them back.
@hendopolis Goodness me! This could only come close to working if we’re through the Covid pandemic quickly. If not, next year’s confusion could be even worse than this year.
@Miss_Snuffy I’m stunned by this decision. I too have taken so much from KIPP and on a visit to New York found it to be perhaps the most impressive school I have ever been in. That doubles my sadness. I’ll die on the hill with you.
