@TedWelford FFS. The SOS unit replacement definitely sorted the GPS issues. Shame the car had to be trailered to my local Skoda dealership a couple of weeks back after the assistance systems software failed-plus brake/servo failure, the lot. A complete software rebuild seems to have fixed it
