#Colts CB Sauce Gardner said he was two minutes late (7:02 am) to the training room on his first day with Indy…
HC Shane Steichen called him out in front of the entire team for being late.
“That was his way of showing me how things are — I had to get with the program.”

My method of fixing the Pro Bowl (and the offseason calendar, sort of).
1. Put it back in Hawaii.
2. Make it the week of free agency, during the legal tampering period. Have it be a huge in-person March event that anchors the free agency frenzy.
3. To avoid pro days clashing with the scheduling, have all the Pro Days be conference events now...not individual schools. Big 12 already does it and it works. Also, have the FCS guys show up to their closest FBS conference event too.
Pro Bowl selected players will be healthier by mid-March, and also the day after the final event would be the start of the league year. Think of it as one last send off to the previous season.
And as a side note, a ton of trades/contracts are largely worked out at Combine anyway. Might as well get the whole league together two weeks later in Hawaii to hash out final details on stuff.
Just think of all the wacky trades we will get when they're worked out over mai tais on the beach.
More on this. During Covid wing prices skyrocketed. A 40 pound case went for around $80 to $240. So places HAD to raise their prices. So wings went from $8 a dozen to like $18 a dozen. They started offering 10 instead. And people paid.
After things settled down in say late 2021 prices returned to pre-covid levels, but places didn’t want to give up the revenue. So the switch to bigger wings started occurring. A bit more expensive sure, but still far more profitable. You are now being ripped off. I myself kept them around $12 a dozen, which is fair.
But what pisses me off is that bigger wings simply aren’t nearly as good. Too much meat. Not as crispy. The skin became secondary. Wings aren’t a meal, they’re an appetizer, something you eat with a few beers.
So now getting wings means you pay far too much for a product that’s simply not as good.
It ends now. MAKE WINGS GREAT AGAIN!
