Making mealtimes easier to swallow starts with knowing international descriptors known as IDDSI. Level 6 is soft & bite-sized , level 5 is minced/ moist & level 4 is puréed. ‘Soft’ has many forms & descriptors matter! #WithSLTuCan

Surreal to think my placement experiences have finished and uni is near to completion. It has been great to reflect on my progression since my first placement and I look forward to continuing to progress in the future! #slt2b
Since the start of the pandemic, we have worked with the @NHS to make sure people know that stroke is a medical emergency & to not delay seeking help. Emergency services are under pressure this winter but please remember to #actFAST and call 999 if you see the signs of a stroke.
