@WHUFC_News Attackers were fouling defenders and defenders were fouling attackers. Impossible for the ref to legislate, so all those fouls cancelled themselves out. But a foul on the keeper (two fouls in fact) couldn’t be cancelled out (there being only one keeper) so that foul was “called”.

@AnthonyB1985 @BBCMOTD Easy - all the fouls on the defenders by the attackers, and vice versa, are “six of one and half a dozen of the other”. Ref doesn’t legislate that mess - it all cancels itself out. But a big foul on the keeper is a v different offence. It isn’t 50/50 as there’s only one keeper
