I’ve been watching baseball for 28 years.
Last night’s game between the Red Sox and White Sox was the best Regular Season game I’ve ever seen.
It’s not close.
If the playoff bullpen looks like this:
Chapman
Whitlock
Slaten
Miller
Guerrero
Moran
Weissert
Bello
Crochet
It has to be one of, if not the best, playoff bullpen of all-time
The Boston Red Sox come from behind five times, and beat the Chicago White Sox, 12-11, in 13 innings for their 8th consecutive victory.
Crazy game.
Crazy team.
They have won 26 of their last 29 games.
They are now 12 games over .500 after being 12 games under .500.
The Red Sox were in last place in the whole American League and then went on a 30-5 run without the Cy Young runner-up and their franchise player who had a 141 OPS+ last year. It has to be one of the most improbable runs in the history of professional sports.
Overpaying for Adley Rutschman is so much better than hoarding every single prospect and then finding out that 2/3 of them can't play. Give me this over the last 5 years.
Don’t let this World Cup cloud your judgement on him during the course of the 25/26 season Lamine Yamal was the best player in Europe, yes he’s had a bit of a quiet WC campaign for his high standards, but going off criteria if he wins the WC the Ballon D’or is his.
Funny thing about Rodri is that ( as is City fans know ) if you get this version of him, you simply won’t lose a football game with him on the field. It’s beyond a super power, it’s legendary stuff.
