Thanks, Mr. Stewart. "I don’t believe that censorship and penalties are the way to end antisemitism or to gain understanding. I don’t believe in that. It’s the wrong way for us to approach it.”
Sent off my vote! (Oregon is all vote by mail.) Please please do the same. It isn’t empty rhetoric: we should be legit scared for our democracy. If you vote, I’ll buy you a beverage of your choice next time we hang out.
“For me, fall feels incomplete without a day at Oko Farms, my dear friend Yẹmí Amu’s sustainable aquaponic farm on the Williamsburg, Brooklyn, waterfront.” I love you @nytimes, but you gotta admit there's a laughability to your articles sometimes.
@PhizLair I can hear normally muffled bikes just fine, certainly way more than normal cars. Unruffled bikes are just a “look at me” situation coming from people who need a therapist more than a loud bike.
@DALLASBRADEN209 fellow Stocktonian here but first time poster. I’m wondering about nickname rules for baseball. It seems that you shorten the name and add “y,” but also that if there is already an “y” you have to get creative. Thoughts?
This has been on my mind as something that is mentioned far too little in the climate change debate, given that it’s the biggest single factor by far. Having one fewer child is 24 times more beneficial than the next best thing you can do for the climate.
@SarahKSilverman how many justices does (heaven help us) a Democratic majority add if the the Republicans pull this nonsense? 2 makes sense rationally, but why not go nuts? Can we find a bunch of reverse Kavanaugh judges who reek of weed and dress like Che just to rub it in?
