Helps to remember the objective:
We’re staying in
so we can go back out.
We’re staying apart
so we can get back together.
We’re loving one another
WELL
So we don’t make one another
SICK.
All our hard todays
are for a lotta happier tomorrows.
There’s a lot of fear—even panic—in the world around us. But as a Christian I know if a person puts their faith in Jesus Christ, He becomes our hope & our refuge. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
WHAT A NIGHT for Logan Caymol 🔥🔥🔥
"I didn't even know I had a no-hitter until after the game. You can't have a no-hitter without an amazing defense and an amazing catcher, so I'm thankful for them. JoJo played an amazing game. I'm just thankful."

At times, our world feels heavy and hopeless… but friend, Jesus’ light shines brighter than the darkness.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." | John 1:5 (NLT)
When we hold onto anger, bitterness & unforgiveness, we do the devil’s work for him. But when we give evidence to God's work in us by trading anger for kindness, resentment for compassion & bitterness for gentleness... it splits this cold world wide open with the warmth of Jesus.
@candacelett621 A5: it’s so obvious that when kids get to high school, they arrive with so many differing levels of voc knowledge: transitional, intermediate, and advanced readers. The chapter provides different strategies and activities for each level. Seems like a good idea #wordsLex1way
@candacelett621 A3: this seems to be tricky. But since RB is on modular schedule, we could actually use either one of the proposed integrated schedules #wordsLex1way
@ncriminger_csms Well as far as that goes, it reinforces the idea that comprehension is more than just recognizing words and recalling meaning. There is so much more involved in “owning” a word. #wordsLex1way
@candacelett621 A2: this was a great way to visually think about voc assessment. I need to do a better job of documentation using notebooks and data journals, but I am not sure I excel in any of these for areas. Voc tasks may be the only thing I feel confident about. #wordsLex1way
@ncriminger_csms A1: I finally got the book! I concur with weekly assessments to target specific voc knowledge, but I have to admit I have not used developmental assessments before. #wordsLex1way
