@DefiantLs Need to start a gofundme for him to keep Hollywood-tier makeup artists on retainer because now I want to see all the costume possibilities and the characters he could embody
I work in this space so I’ll keep it as short as I possibly can. Lots of gaps and “well actuallys” potentially…
The platforms will say that due to the richness of the data they collect in a single second of every day of just about everyone’s life they can make inferences based on user behavior. Said inferences can be used to build user segments that an advertiser can then choose to target. You may be someone that acts online like someone else who bought that bottle recently and Meta or Google put you into an audience that was essentially “walks like a duck quacks like a duck but isn’t your customer yet”
That means you’re likely an eligible individual for this ad which means they don’t waste money on someone else that may not find the ad appealing and subsequently have a lower propensity to purchase/give email contact/ covert.
As a practitioner, I will say that there are also ways to target audiences based on how recently you’ve engaged with a website and they could do something akin to “lifecycle marketing” where the message is basically “you were here a while ago, you didn’t buy, just reminding you what you perhaps forgot about”
There’s also ways in Google Ads for example
Where you can serve video and display ads to people who simply have googled something recently. Maybe you didn’t go to that website at all but you googled their competitors last night. You’re in that audience? Ad.
As a guy that doesn’t trust many things, air pod electrodes, phone microphone, people in float tanks.
