Day 30/30 - SolidWorks Challenge
Hurray! π We made it to the final day of the SolidWorks challenge! I was supposed to post this yesterday, but I had some issues with SolidWorks while assembling the BobCat, so the work got paused. I was also quite stressed and slept off earlyπ
....
So, the learning continues!π
Thank you to everyone who followed, liked, commented, encouraged me, or simply watched my progress throughout these 30 days.
It truly means a lot to me.β€οΈ
The real learning begins afterwards..
But first, make I finish this 500L.ππ
30/30β
*contd_1
And I believe I've made progress. π€
But this is definitely not the end.
There's still so much to learn in SolidWorks and CAD generally:
β’ Simulation
β’ Parametric modelling
β’ CAM
β’ Sheet metal
β’ Manufacturing
β’ Advanced assemblies
β’ And so much more.
........
I'm genuinely glad I stayed consistent for 30 days.
It might not look like much, but it means a lot to me.
I started this challenge to silence that little doubt:
"I can't do this. It's too complex."
I wanted to regain my confidence and willingness to try.
*To be continued,1*
I eventually woke up around midnight and decided to finish the assembly. π
And yes, I got it done! πͺπ₯
This challenge has been more than just learning how to use SolidWorks. It has also been about pushing myself to keep going, even when things get difficult.
Day 29/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Today, I designed a tyre and rim in SolidWorks. I also assembled the tyre and rim with an axle, as well as worked on the front-light assembly.
Another day of learning, improving, and sharpening my 3D modelling skills.
One more day to go!
Day 28/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Today's design on Solidworks was fascinating. I drew 10 parts out of the parts needed for the BobCat Loader.
Designing these parts exposed me to some features that I haven't used before, and I also strengthen my skills on thos e I knew of
Day 27/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Continuation of the BobCat Loader assembly parts design:
Today, I drew the Cabin cap, Front light bulb, front light case, Bulb cover, front light class, and back cover with light.
Another day of learning and improving my SolidWork skills
Day 26/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Today, I continue with the drawing of parts for the BobCat Loader assembly. I was able to draw two parts: The Cabin and the Bucket. These two parts sharpen my skills more in SolidWorks design.
Watch out for the next one! π€
Day 25/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Today's session was different. I planned to use the last 6 days of the challenge to draw a BobCat loader in SolidWorks. So today, I drew the main body of the design.
Another day of learning, designing, and improving my SolidWork skillsπ€
Day 24/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Today, I practiced how to use the deform features in SolidWorks. Though I can't boast that I've understood how to use the it until I design a lot of things with it.
Another day of learning, designing and improving my SolidWork skills β¨
Day 22/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Practiced designing a lampshade using Surface Features in SolidWorks.
I thought I had posted this yesterday, only to realize this morning that I slept off without clicking βPost.β π
Sleep isnβt anybodyβs mate πͺ. Stay true to yourself.
Day 22/30 - SolidWorks Challenge βοΈπ₯
Today, I learned how to draw a spring on Solidworks.
For this design, I make use of features like projected curve, Helix and spiral, composite curve and Sweep Boss/Base.
It was a tricky one to draw but I found it enjoyable while drawing it
