@sam_chimenti @MattGeorgeSAC This is what suitED them best. They haven't played with that kind of pace for 2 seasons. They've slowed down to play as a technical team and they just aren't meant to be that. It'll be interesting to see what Christie or whoever the HC is over the off season can do with this team

If you assume Americans aren't willing to leave the country for employment then your logic doesn't hold up

@CarmichaelDave I agree that he didn't break a rule which is why I said earlier that this needs to be changed from the league down. Players get drafted to a team they have no choice on (but they agree to that when they enter the draft). Continuing this just hurts the league and the teams.

@CarmichaelDave listening to your talk this morning. The difference between your analogy of marriage to the De'Aaron situation is that he was someone under contract to play for this team. The team didn't do what they should have done but he was an employee who is getting paid.

@CarmichaelDave And we all aren't happy about the kings org right now but at the same time, we're letting players run the team.... I don't think that's right for an employee to make damaging comments to the value of his contract.

@CarmichaelDave Why should the player have a say in that? He didn't have any clause in his contract that said he should. We get attached to players but at the end of the day he's an employee of the organization they own his contract, players sell their right to play to the team.

@CarmichaelDave Because the team is paying the player to work for their team. I'm in the engineering field... If you work for a consulting company under contract and they put you on a different project, you go. You don't get a say... You go where they send you or you walk away from your contract

@CarmichaelDave I think what needs to come down from the league level is what a player can do while under contract regarding expressing desired trade locations. It tanks trade value when they highlight a destination. Sure if they're in free agency, but mid season it kills the locker room & team
