I am disappointed those in the #LGBTQ community have chosen to ban me and the UCP from #Pride events in Alberta.

I don’t understand why they would do that as I am Alberta’s first indigenous premier, with my Métis & Cherokee heritage, and a proud bisexual lesbian.

It’s not right for them to ban the UCP just because we are passing laws which restricts gender-affirming care for transgender people and already banned Gay-Straight Alliances from schools.

I really care about Pride but mostly because I need the photo-ops. I support gay rights and will say I encourage inclusion but my actions, like posing with this guy, speak much louder than my words.
