@JeffVeillette With all due respect to Maccelli as well, he’s just a guy, easily replaceable by someone who will make the roughly the same or less contractually and statistically. Not a guy you need to get attached to over the long run
@mikeybetzz69@SaskyChris4@_knilanderthews Youre both right/wrong. Leafs were in the draft lottery in 2020, same odds to pick 1st as everyone who didnt qualify in the bubble. With NYR winning, they lost their 1st rd pick due to top 10 protection in the Marleau trade, they recouped a 1st rd pick & used THAT to pick Amirov
@BallsKentucky@reporterchris It’s definitely how it works. You have to hire the right coach for the group of players. Not everyone responds to getting screamed at repeatedly. But if you think the coach is more important than the players then I guess we just disagree.
@BallsKentucky@reporterchris I mean that’s literally how it works. That’s why coaches shelf lives are so short. It’s no wonder the longer serving coaches in the league are the “players coaches”. It’s not the players picking the coach, it’s how the players respond to the coaching.
@AllEliteLeo@reporterchris Irrelevant really, we've seen that being a hard ass doesnt work with this group, amplifying that with Cassidy will generate similar results as the past year. I'd be more intrigued with a players coach like David Carle if available.
@RinkRatReport We had 2 guys who were decent in Bozak and Lupul… but we can’t and I stress, can’t forget how bad Kulemin was with his one move haha and he went every time
@Jb5haw@icenineleafs Because were fans of the team, you showing up or not doesnt effect anything. Like I said, plenty of people can afford to go, and not everyone stops watching when times are tough. Like your bio says, youre a Leafs fan, we've been through worse lol
