@KeldecMTG If we review the Spotlight Team Trios GP in Brussels, they know what the players want. They just need to run more of those events and finally get rid of those Standard Seasons.
@knolesce I wanted it as a 2 Drop. Most of the Games i was happy if he traded with something to give me some Time. In the QF against U/W Recruit it was enough to make my 10/10 Elves unblockable.
🏆 First RcQ of the Season. I managed to win with a sweet Elves Deck in the Top 8 Draft. My Sealde Deck was also pretty insane.
Looking forward to see you all in Bilbao🇪🇸
Weekend recap from the Spotlight Series in Brussels 🇧🇪
Friday:
I thought it would be a great idea to get up at midnight, drive 7 hours to Brussels, and then play an RCQ followed by a Team Trios Sealed event.
It actually went better than expected. I finished 4-1 in the RCQ after losing the final round. Decklist below.
Saturday:
Main Event time!
First of all, I want to give a huge shoutout to my amazing teammates. It was a pleasure playing with you both and we had a great time. ❤️
@raphlevymtg@ClaudelmaximeC
We opened a pretty solid pool and started 2-0. After losing Rounds 3 and 5, we fought our way back to a win-and-in match for Day 2 against Rasmus Enegren’s team. Unfortunately, we came up just short.
Sunday:
I decided to run back my 4-1 Esper Blink list from Friday in the Destination Qualifier. I finished 6-2 but missed Top 8 on tiebreakers.

Overall, it was a great weekend with a lot of good results. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take that final step this time.
Last but not least, a huge thank you to @BernGames for supporting us with booster boxes for testing. It helped us a lot and we really appreciate the support!
🏆 Baal @SplitSecondMTG won an RCQ with his trusted Broodscale list and will now join the team in Ghent to compete for a Pro Tour invite!
Congratulations! 🥳

The result of living in Switzerland, where everyone can afford 4x Mox Opal... 😅
My RCQ today with the same list:
- R1: 2-1 Affinity ✅
- R2: 0-2 Affinity ❌
- R3: 2-1 Affinity ✅
- R4: 0-2 Prowess ❌
- R5: 1-2 Affinity ❌
So I ended up playing Affinity 4 out of 5 rounds.
If you want to know anything about the matchup, I'm an expert now. 😄

@jenara19 I hope my LGS recommendation was a good one! Shame I couldn't make it this weekend, but I'm excited to have you in the community. Now we've got another strong player to deal with... we'll have to step up our game! 😂 Looking forward to our first match!

After deciding to head to Brussels for the Team Trio GP, I fired off a few Drafts today. This one ended in a clean 7–0!
Would you have splashed Under Siege in this deck, or do you think staying consistent was the better choice?

@jenara19 Hey, welcome to Switzerland😉
In Zurich there are multiple stors, running weekly events. If you check on @unityleaguemtg you find all events around you.
[MTG] 4-4 at RC Prague, and 4-4 at the Open with Mono G Landfall. The deck was good, but some crucial mistakes led to too many losses. Many good learning points for the weekend!
Shoutout to @JRiedener for the late night decklist chat until we arrived at this.
