#DearSaints Stop being so judgmental & opininated. Restrain yourself from always needing to say what you think about everything. Let the LORD command your comments.
@iJesseWilliams@iJesseWilliams it completely depends on your up bringing. Growing up.......Jan 2nd. My whole career....the first time I’ve seen someone after the new year until about the 10th ish. I was still saying it today.
Just because a particular person didn’t turn out to be who you thought they were doesn’t mean Jesus is not who he says he is. Don’t ever confuse Jesus with people.
Don't mistake humility with mediocrity. In all things - small or large, on stage or off stage, online of offline - do it with all your heart. Do it with beauty. Do it with excellence. Do it with integrity. Do it with joy and love. And be sure to give all the glory to Christ.
The truth is that we all fail. The greater truth is that no single failure ever defines us. Repent. Apologize. Listen. Learn. Grow in wisdom. And don't give up. Press on. Trust that God is not yet done with us.
@bj116 Challenging - the over sexualized mindsets of people whether Christian or non-Christian, married or single. Exciting - connecting with people that bring to life the concept of “iron sharpens iron”
Singleness should not be equated to immaturity & Marriage should not be equated to maturity. Both have challenges. Both have advantages. Both have God-given responsibilities and callings.
@bj116 It’s really sad to me that this question was asked and had to be answered. Shows me how much marriage is idolized, especially in the church, and makes me hurt for single folk who are seen as less than simply because they are single. I understand why they run away from Sundays.
